It's almost time for HealthHelp's Provider Satisfaction Survey

June 5, 2023

MO HealthNet Division's Radiology Benefits Manager, HealthHelp, will be conducting a Provider Satisfaction Survey beginning June 13, 2023. The survey is for providers and facilities utilizing HealthHelp services.

HealthHelp provides easy ways for providers to obtain authorizations: online web application, fax, phone authorization through call center, and IVR automated touch phone system. HealthHelp would like your input on any of the methods you have used to contact them.

The feedback from providers and facilities is vital for improving HealthHelp's processes. The survey takes about five minutes to complete. HealthHelp is offering ten $100 Amazon gift cards to providers and facilities utilizing HealthHelp in appreciation for participation. HealthHelp will randomly select winners from the respondents who provide a valid email address.

Visit HealthHelp.com/Survey or www.HealthHelp.com/MoHealthNet to participate. The survey link will be active beginning on June 13th. We look forward to hearing from you!

Home and Community Based Services Miscellaneous Payment

May 25, 2023

Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) providers may have been issued a payment coded as MIS (Miscellaneous) in May 2023. These payments are due to the processing of Value Based Incentive Payments by both the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) and the Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DMH DD).

  • Payments made by DHSS (and not DMH) are for the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Value Based Incentive Payment and are based on criteria outlined in INFO 10-22-01. The DHSS payment was issued for all HCBS providers with visit data in the Electronic Aggregator System (EAS) during the March 1, 2023 – March 31, 2023 time frame. To review how DHSS payments were calculated, review INFO 05-23-02. Questions regarding DHSS' payment should be directed to the Bureau of Long Term Services and Supports (BLTSS) via e-mail at LTSS@health.mo.gov.
  • Value Based Incentive Payments made by DMH DD were not related to the DHSS EVV Payments. relate to nine approved value based incentives and were made to providers that submitted all necessary documentation in the data collection system REDCap. Temporary payment notifications were sent to the REDCap users who entered the incentive data from the DD VBP email address DMHDD.VBP@dmh.mo.gov The notifications contained information regarding the performance period, reason code and description identifying the incentive, amount of payment, and check date. Questions regarding DMH DD's payments should be directed to DMHDD.VBP@dmh.mo.gov.
