Christian Cooper made headlines in May 2020 after a white woman called police saying he threatened her and her dog in New York's Central Park. Cooper had asked the woman to leash her dog and recorded the encounter.
A writer and editor, Cooper will discuss his memoir "Better Living Through Birding" as well as his new National Geographic series, "Extraordinary Birder." The show follows his avian adventures in Southern California and around the world.
