| 🏃♂️ A convicted murderer now on the loose in Pennsylvania after escaping jail slipped through a police perimeter and was recorded on a trail camera in a nearby botanical garden, prompting authorities to expand the focus of their search for the "dangerous" fugitive on Tuesday morning, officials said. Police suspect Danelo Cavalcante might still be hiding in Longwood Gardens, a sprawling horticulture attraction about five miles southwest of the prison he escaped from six days ago in Pocopson Township. ⚖ A federal judge on Tuesday sentenced former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio to 22 years in prison -- the longest sentence to date handed down for any individual charged in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. Prosecutors had sought a sentence of 33 years in prison for Tarrio, their harshest recommendation yet for someone charged in the Justice Department's sweeping investigation into the Capitol assault -- despite the fact that Tarrio wasn't present in Washington the day of the attack. 🗺 A three-judge panel on Tuesday unanimously struck down Alabama's recently redrawn congressional map, finding that the GOP-drafted plan did not comply with the Voting Rights Act as it did not create a second district in which Black voters would likely be able to elect their preferred candidate. Court-appointed experts will now draw a new map for the 2024 elections. Alabama is expected to appeal the decision to the U.S. Supreme Court. 💔 Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are divorcing. On Tuesday, the Jonas Brothers singer filed for divorce from the "Game of Thrones" actress after four years of marriage. According to People, which reportedly obtained the court filing, the singer claims "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken." The filing also states the couple also have a prenup in place, according to the magazine. 🤝 A husband's advice to pitch in more to support his partner around the house is going viral on TikTok. It all starts by not asking this question. | |
