My immediate thought: NO WAY...this is too good to be true...

Hi hi Indiana Jones,

Can I share with you how I spent my Friday evening?! The boys were hanging out with friends here and there...and I...

Was at home checking on an order I had placed on Amazon Prime Days in the Amazon app, when I saw a graphic that read...

Amazon Fresh - $50 off $100+ online order

SAY WHAT??!!

No way...this is too good to be true...

I grabbed my notepad and laptop and the following happened...

I wrote down a few freezer + pantry staples meal ideas that I could use with ingredients from Amazon Fresh - spaghetti, sloppy joes, Greek chicken bake, shredded chicken tacos, vegetarian chili...

Next I started checking for ingredients and availability...

Then I took the $100 mark and turned it in a challenge to get it as close to $100 as possible, with getting the most meals possible...

So I started a price spreadsheet so I could keep track of the running total...

Which, of course, I then turned into a blog post...

BECAUSE IT IS NOT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. IT WORKS!

Everything I did to prepare for my order I have set up for you on the blog:

  • details about the promo and the coupon code (this might be invite only, you'll have to check and see if you have it!)
  • meals list,
  • ingredients by meal, etc.

Go see the meals list, ingredients list, and get your $100 ---> $50 order in!!!

People ask me ALL THE TIME - how can you still do $5 Dinners?!

It has definitely become more of a challenge in the past few months (years?) but I'm still always looking to spend as little as possible.

Deals and promos like this come along and all of a sudden - boom, $5 Dinners are happening again!

My other favorite way to save money on groceries is...

Buy meat on sale and make freezer meals, which is why we developed the MyFreezEasy Method and web app. To help you make freezer meals with the meat you find on sale.

That's right – the freezer can be your secret weapon for stretching your food budget.

Freezer cooking shifts your meal planning approach in the best kind of way. Trust me, the feeling of having a well-stocked freezer is like having money in the bank for your future meals.

The way I do freezer meals before the holidays? I Deck the Freezer of course...

If YOU are ready to Deck the Freezer with me, here are the next steps for you:

  1. Watch the Replay: Erin Explains It All
  2. Download the FREE freezer meal plan PDF
  3. RSVP for Facebook Live: Tune in on the 19th for the official Deck the Freezer Live Prep in My Kitchen!

This is an amazing way to get a taste (pun intended) of the MyFreezEasy Method.

It's kinda like a free trial...RSVP here and I will email you the free PDF download!

And now for this week's recipes...
