Nobody in Congress — or in our country — trusts Kevin McCarthy, and why should we? He has broken his commitments time and again.
As Speaker, he went back on his promise to President Biden and nearly caused a disastrous government shutdown. He tried to distract from Republicans' ruin by opening a baseless impeachment inquiry against President Biden. And he's continued to support January 6 insurrectionists who attacked our democracy.
Republicans are in ruin. They have given us all reason after reason to let them deal with their own problems. They are wallowing in their own pigsty of incompetence.
Instead of their caucus of chaos, we choose to lead with determination and care for our communities, constituents, and for our country.
