A recent poll shows a dismal 28% of Americans have a great deal of trust and confidence in the Court! This should hardly come as a surprise – just look at their track record: IN 2022: SCOTUS undid nearly 50 years of precedent and jeopardized reproductive rights for MILLIONS across the nation when they overturned Roe v. Wade. Recent polls show 65% opposed that decision. IN 2023: The Court decimated voting rights protections, ruled in favor of the NRA, and even limited the power of the EPA in the midst of a climate crisis! AND NOW IN 2024: The Supreme Court has agreed to hear cases that could further limit access to reproductive health care and could end essential programs like Social Security and Medicare. But despite the Court’s dangerous actions, polls show their approval among Democrats is over 25%!
