In fact, most people can begin their career as an apprentice working on a construction site. That being said, the construction industry is filled with specialty positions and opportunities if you have the right training and education. Certificates can be earned in areas such as: Building Construction Construction Technology Construction Management Concrete Building Maintenance SkillUP Can Help Pay for Training If you receive SNAP, you are eligible for SkillUP!  The SkillUP program offers SNAP recipients the opportunity to gain skills, job training and work experience through many local community colleges and job centers across Missouri. This no-cost program can help pay for you to get a certificate in Highway Construction and put you on a path to a new future!
