Text Biden: Stop Arming Genocide

The U.S. needs to follow its own laws related to military aid and Israel

MPower Change Action

As salaamu alaykum, Indiana Jones—

The world has witnessed horror after horror in Gaza. The tragedy of World Central Kitchen aid workers being killed has provoked raw outrage from Biden, who is now using his harshest words yet against Netanyahu. Biden has reiterated calls for an immediate ceasefire, demanding that Israel stops impeding humanitarian aid and do more to protect civilians.¹

For 40,000 massacred Palestinians, his harsh words are too late. For over two million trapped in Gaza, facing starvation, lack of medical care, and devastating loss, his words must be backed by action.

Tell him to stop arming Israel's genocide

The U.S. is already breaking its own laws and not following its own policies regarding military assistance to Israel, including the Foreign Assistance Act (FAA), the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), the Leahy Law, and Biden's National Security Memo (NSM-20) issued earlier this year.

Israel's plausible genocide is far beyond a gross violation of human rights.

Now, with support for Biden and Israel plummeting,² the U.S. might actually start applying its laws to Israel because Biden's reprimands are all empty words until he takes action to back them up.

Biden is feeling the heat. We're at a time when we have the leverage of growing disapproval of Biden and Israel — it's on us to make the most of this and act now for a permanent ceasefire and a halt of military assistance to Israel.

Members of Congress like Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.), a perennial backer of Israel and close ally to Biden, are suggesting that the U.S. condition its foreign assistance to Israel because of its war on Gaza.³ Other efforts led by Reps. Pocan and McGovern are calling on the administration to stop the transfer of all offensive arms to Israel.

Will you take a minute to text Biden at +1 (302) 404-0880
You will get heard.

Harsh words for Netanyahu is not action. We will not stop pushing Congress and Biden until we have an immediate and permanent ceasefire and the U.S. stops arming Israel.

Thank you for everything you do.
