Hey There,
Was there something that made you smile today? π
Or maybe there was something that didn't go quite as planned?
I know life as a teen can sometimes feel overwhelming – school, friends, expectations, and all the big changes happening around and within you. It's a lot, isn't it?
During these times, it's easy to keep your thoughts and feelings to yourself, worrying they might be too much or maybe too small to talk about.
But everything you feel is important.
This Mental Health Awareness Month, let's break the stigma by opening up and showing that it's perfectly okay to talk about our mental health.
So, if you're feeling overwhelmed, here are a few things you can try:
- Journal your thoughts: Keeping a journal can help clear your mind and maybe even help you understand why you're feeling a certain way.
- Take time to unwind: read a book, play your favorite game, or just chill with some music, find time each day to do something that relaxes you.
- Talk it out: communicate with a friend, a family member, or even me, talking about what's on your mind is important. You're not bothering anyone, instead, you're giving them a chance to be there for you.
Here at TruHeight®, we understand that growing up is not only about getting taller but also growing mentally and emotionally in a healthy way.
Keep these tips in mind, and remember, no question or concern is too small if it matters to you
Thanks for sharing your journey with me. Keep in touch, okay?
