During Season 2 of the Learn Jazz Standards podcast, I've been answering lots of listener's jazz questions over the last five months.
One question that seems to come about in a variety of different forms is how do I remember the chords to jazz standards?
I completely understand why this is a struggle for so many musicians, so if you find yourself struggling with this, you are not alone!
There are so many chords in jazz standards, and especially if you are unclear on how they function in the song, it can be difficult to retain all of those chords in your memory.
Yet you may have noticed that pro jazz players can easily recall many jazz standards (even hundreds) at a moments notice.
So how can you remember chords to jazz standards for the long haul?
I recently published a new 10 minute podcast episode where I explain exactly how you can remember chords, and as a result easily recall jazz standards. Give it a listen!
