Jack Sock's Rise To Pickleball

Jack Sock's rise to pickleball success was not an underdog story, or even a surprise for those who knew him. It was more like a transition—from the world's largest stage to the world's fastest growing.

|Wimbledon Wins

Jack started his racquet sport career as a dominant tennis player, breaching the top 100 ranking in 2013. The following year was a breakthrough period, and Jack won his first major doubles title at Wimbledon, which he followed up four years later with another doubles victory.

|Jack Claims Olympic Gold

Jack's Wimbledon victories bookended two of his most impressive wins at the 2016 Rio Olympics. After competing in all three tennis competitions on the world's largest stage, Sock claimed a bronze medal for the USA in men's doubles, and secured his No.1 U.S. ranking with a gold medal in mixed doubles.

2023 marked a turning point for Jack Sock's career, where he made his professional pickleball debut in May at the PPA North Carolina Open. Later that year, he participated in the final event of his tennis career alongside Coco Gauff.

Since his transition, Jack has worked his way up the pickleball rankings, claiming a top 10 spot in just one year on the tour.
