The Commons sits from 9.30am for business and trade questions. After Lucy Powell, the leader of the Commons, sets out the parliamentary business for next week, and any urgent questions and other ministerial statements, Ed Miliband, the energy secretary, will introduce the Great British Energy Bill.
Nick Thomas Symonds, minister for the Cabinet Office, will introduce the House of Lords (Hereditary Peers) Bill which will remove the right of hereditary peers to sit and vote in the Lords.
Shabana Mahmood, the justice secretary, will visit Vilnius, Lithuania, for the annual meeting of all 46 justice ministers of the Council of Europe. |
