The election will not be over on January 6, 2025.

We could be looking at a scenario wherein Democrats pass a resolution to declare Trump an “insurrectionist” under the 14th Amendment — which could lead to the disqualification of Trump’s electoral votes.

Such an action could trigger the invocation of the 12th Amendment, according to Jim, allowing the House of Representatives to choose the president.

As both parties prepare for intense confrontations over ballot legitimacy and candidate qualifications, the potential for dramatic outcomes looms large.
