Kamala Harris delivered her campaign's "closing argument" last night. Her pitch: That she would focus on delivering for Americans, but Donald Trump would fixate on revenge. She spoke in D.C. from the site where Trump rallied supporters on Jan. 6, 2021. What voters say: A majority of swing-state voters fear violence if Trump loses, a new poll shows. The billionaire has pledged to help Trump slash federal spending. Yesterday, Musk appeared to acknowledge his plan could bring severe, short-term economic turmoil. The details: The Biden administration has received nearly 500 such claims — some with photo documentation — but has not swiftly investigated them, officials say. What else to know: The U.S. urged Israel to explain an airstrike on a residential building in northern Gaza yesterday that killed at least 93 people, according to Gaza officials. This morning: Fresh data is expected to show that gross domestic product continued its two-year growth streak, fueled by spending on things like cars, dining out and travel. It's not gouda: No arrests have been made. The company has asked cheese fans to get in contact if they're offered any suspiciously cheap cheddar.
