Morning Rundown 🌍 The Pentagon announced Sunday that it will deploy an additional anti-ballistic missile defense system to Israel, along with military crews, to bolster Israel's air defenses following recent attacks from Iran. Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, the Pentagon press secretary, said the United States will send Israel a Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery. The THAAD battery will augment Israel's integrated air defense system, which includes its "Iron Dome." 🏛️ President Joe Biden on Sunday toured areas of Florida ravaged by back-to-back hurricanes and announced federal funding for projects to strengthen the electrical grid and a "whole government" effort to help the state recover. 🏥 One of the many ripple effects from Hurricane Helene is that the storm shut down one of the largest suppliers of IV fluids in the U.S., causing a nationwide shortage. 🗳️ Vice President Kamala Harris released a report with details about her health and medical history on Saturday, as the Harris team tries to place former President Donald Trump's health and advanced age under new scrutiny. 🚨 An urgent search is underway for Zelig Williams, a 28-year-old Broadway dancer who vanished in Columbia, South Carolina, after he was last seen leaving the home he shares with his mother on the morning of Oct. 3, the Richland County Sheriff's Department's said. 👗 A mom shared a TikTok post of her 2-year-old daughter selecting her top choice out of several dresses with fun, eye-catching designs, and the short video has quickly gone viral with over 9 million views since Oct. 2.
