Still on the fence about this whole Art of Gathering Digital Course thing? It's okay if you still have some reservations. Rather than tell you more success stories, I'm going to let you in on some of the common objections folks have had to signing up. Maybe it'll help put your mind at ease. 🚫 This is way too overwhelming. Who am I to impose this on my friends, family, and coworkers? You are someone who is frustrated with the same old gathering forms we tend to fall into. You care about your people and how you spend your time together. And, you want to do something to make that time together a better experience. That's who 😉. Now that that's settled, this course is made up of six lessons of pre-recorded videos. Self-guided is the name of the game here. Your time, your schedule. Yes, we email you a weekly agenda every week to help you navigate it all. Yes, there's a robust workbook to track your planning. But, you have my full permission to do your own thing. This is your practice. Absolutely shape it to your needs and capacity. In fact, you'll be surprised by just how much small shifts can change the whole vibe. 🚫 I don't have the right personality to pull this whole connection thing off. I'm usually the one on the sidelines at a social event. Not feeling comfortable, being unsure of how to navigate social situations, or feeling like you can't speak up in a meeting is a totally valid experience. But here's the thing – artful gathering isn't about being the life of the party or the most outgoing person in the room. It's a set of skills anyone can learn. And honestly, introverts are some of the best gatherers. Think of it this way, you're taking matters into your own hands and planning a gathering you wish existed, one that isn't so painful to attend.🙃 I'll walk you through the six practical skills and exercises to help give you the confidence to bring it to life. 🚫 Most of my workplace meetings and events happen virtually. Virtual gatherings are still gatherings. Just because we aren't in the same room, doesn't mean we should ignore giving them any meaningful thought or consideration. In some ways, these virtual or hybrid group moments require even more care. In addition to the core Art of Gathering framework, I've included a couple of bonus videos on the unique considerations for virtual and hybrid gatherings. These gathering formats aren't going anywhere any time soon. 🚫 This seems like a big investment to plan one gathering. While you come to this course with one gathering, you can return to it each and every time to plan a gathering. I always say that gathering is a lifelong practice. Look at it as an investment into not just one gathering but a long-term tool to help you nurture and refresh the time spent with your people. If you're working on fixing a weekly meeting or were voluntold to take the lead on the next team offsite, click here for some employee resources with your name on them. We'll help you convince the ones in charge to help cover the investment in your team. I know cost can be a very real barrier. If you're experiencing a hardship that prevents you from paying full price, reply to this email so we can help find a solution. 🚫 Why should I put all of this effort into a night out with friends? I just want to hang out. Fair. The Art of Gathering Digital course is best applied to whatever gathering you want to improve or feels higher stakes. If it's not broken, no need to fix it! Go forth and enjoy a great casual hang-out with friends you love. You're lucky. Savor it. There you have it — some totally valid, thoughtful objections to buying this course. We love to hear where you're coming from, and we're always on the lookout to improve the course experience. So, whaddya think? Ready to join The Art of Gathering Digital Course? |
