Help us keep these politicians accountable.

Hi,  The results are in. Ted Cruz has been re-elected as U.S. Senator from Texas.  There haven't been many more polarizing politicians in recent memory in Texas than ultra-conservative Cruz. He is joined in victory by Donald Trump and J.D. Vance who claimed the nation's top office. This year's Senate race was particularly notable for North Texans thanks to local Congressman Colin Allred facing off against Cruz. As the dust settles, there will be countless stories for us to monitor, like the continued efforts to restrict abortion access and political developments impacting the LGBTQ community.  Our job is far from over — we'll be digging into new policies and bills, watching to see if campaign promises are abandoned or fulfilled, and so much more.
