| | 🔥 Nine people have been charged with looting in connection with the Palisades and Eaton fires, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced Monday. Additionally, four separate lawsuits were filed against Southern California Edison by homeowners and renters who lost their homes in the Eaton Fire. The lawsuits allege the utility company failed to de-energize its equipment despite red flag warnings issued by the National Weather Service. Meanwhile, LA County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone warned that severe fire weather conditions, high winds with low humidity, will continue through Wednesday, keeping the fire threat critical across Los Angeles County.
