Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance participating in resource centers in multiple counties following severe stormsEmail: news@dci.mo.gov JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Consumer specialists with the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance (DCI) will participate in Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARC) to answer insurance questions and help those impacted by the severe storms in multiple counties over the next few days. MARCs will occur in Ripley, Wayne, Butler, Perry, and Franklin Counties. MARCs are one-stop shops that pull together recovery resources in communities impacted by disasters. DCI and the State Emergency Management Agency encourage affected residents to come to the MARC locations on the following dates and times: Thursday & Friday, March 27-28, Noon - 7 p.m. Black River Coliseum 301 S. 5th Street Poplar Bluff, MO 63901 Friday, March 28, Noon - 7 p.m. Caring Community Partnership 209 West Highway Street Doniphan, MO 63935 Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Clearwater R-1 (Piedmont) High School 200 Henry White Blvd. Piedmont, MO 63957 Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Park Center 800 City Park Drive Perryville, MO 63775 Sunday, March 30, 1 - 6 p.m. Clearwater R-1 (Piedmont) High School 200 Henry White Blvd. Piedmont, MO 63957 Sunday, March 30, 1 - 7 p.m. Pacific Eagles Aerie Hall 707 Congress Street Pacific, MO 63069 DCI's insurance consumer specialists assist residents with understanding their insurance policies and navigating the claim process. They can also provide company contact information. For any insurance questions, Missouri consumers can call DCI's Insurance Consumer Hotline at 800-726-7390 or visit insurance.mo.gov/consumers. Individuals with unmet needs should contact United Way 211. Call 2-1-1 for assistance or visit 211helps.org. For additional resources and information about disaster recovery in Missouri, visit recovery.mo.gov. DCI is charged with protecting Missouri consumers through oversight of the insurance industry, banks, credit unions, utilities, and various professional licensees operating in the state.
