What New Tariffs Mean for Us and for You
| Hi, We've had a few of you reach out recently asking about PLAE in light of the newly announced tariffs—and while we're still processing the news ourselves, we wanted to take a moment to share some initial thoughts. As you may have seen, the U.S. is expected to raise tariffs on footwear imports from Vietnam from 10% to 46%. Since PLAE manufactures in Vietnam, this will have a direct impact on our costs. We've been absorbing rising costs for some time—materials, labor, warehousing, shipping—without raising prices in step. But with the scale of this new tariff, it's likely that prices across the industry, including ours, will need to increase. If you've been considering a new pair of PLAE shoes, now's the time to grab them at our current prices. We'll hold pricing as long as we can—but these changes are coming quickly.
