From the Editor
Hello New TechNet Flash Subscriber,
BizTalk Server is probably one of Microsoft's least-understood products. It's one of the few unavailable as a shrink-wrapped package, and it's priced in line with other enterprise tools in its class. Sample the 120-day trial version of the just-released 2006 edition of BizTalk Server. You'll find a link to it in the Downloads section in this issue. If you're looking to automate and optimize business processes, or you need to connect to mainframe and midrange legacy systems or to non-Microsoft line-of-business applications from SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and JD Edwards, give it a try.
---------------------------------------------------------------------- Be sure to check out the new On Demand section in this issue, where we announce a new IT Pro-focused television show called InterFace. It's from the same people who continue to bring you TechNet Radio (also updated in this issue).
We're delighted that so many of you have expressed interest in registering to receive beta updates through the TechNet Beta Central program we announced in our March 22 edition. Once again, here's the link to sign up <http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=4819056>. If you have not registered, you'll miss exclusive information about upcoming releases that regularly appears through the TechNet Flash.
Enjoy the issue. Graeme Bennett Editor, TechNet Flash
