Burma Self-Sufficiency Requires Int'l Commitment

Although humanitarian groups gained "unprecedented ... access" to the
Burmese regions suffering most after Cyclone Nargis, the "process of

Afghanistan: U.S.-NATO Airstrikes Bring Higher Civilian Toll

WASHINGTON, Sep 8 (IPS) - Ramped-up U.S. and ATO airstrikes in
Afghanistan are causing an increased civilian death oll, raising
