| Editor's Note: Because data creation continues to skyrocket all over the world, the IT storage sector has held up very well in a nasty macroeconomy. eWEEK queried our readers about their perspectives on their companies' plans to purchase storage products and services in 2009, and the results were encouraging. One data point in particular seemed to sum it all up: 89 percent of the decision-makers queried report that their companies will either maintain or increase their storage spending plans in the next 12 months.
