Windows Mobile Phone Has Evil Android Twin
Chinese firms TechFaith Wireless and Qigi Future Technology announced a smartphone that will be offered in both Windows Mobile 6.1 and Google Android versions. Known as the i6-Win and i6-Goal, respectively, the devices reportedly include 2.8-inch touchscreens, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WiFi, GPS, and two megapixel cameras.
Moonlight 1.0 Coming Very Soon
Microsoft's "Silverlight" alternative to Adobe Flash may be just about ready for the Linux desktop. A developer blog says the first beta release of the open source Moonlight 1.0 for Linux will arrive "very, very soon," while a new Moonlight 2.0 development effort is welcoming new contributors.

Windows Vista's second birthday passed, and nobody noticed. Some kids sleep anxiously for fear parents will forget the big birthday. Two years ago on Nov. 30, Microsoft launched Windows Vista for businesses. But yesterday there was no fanfare, no obligatory look-back posts in commemorationÑnot even from Microsoft employee bloggers. Oh, my, what has Vista become?
