Yesterday Daughter C and I went to the last birthday party of the season, in a little house next to a pretty Romanesque Church atop a nearby hill -- A fantastic view, well past Florence, and a nice yard too that would have been perfect except for the rain that poured down for much of the afternoon. Veronica's parents had brought indoor games too, and the kids played them, while we sat, talked, and watched the rain come down.
