Italian Food In the Spotlight | More Topics |   from Kyle Phillips When I was in college in upstate NY this meant fall folage. here in Tuscany the vineyards do turn pretty colors, but nothing that rivals the intensity of a North American sugar maple. Certainly not our trees; though some do turn pretty pale yellows, most seem to fade from green to a drab brown.   In the Spotlight Castagne! Castagne are chestnuts, and I saw the first of the season yesterday in a market.
