The List
Make 2010 the year of not-hideous-fatness: hit Thrillist's
Resolution HQ, and stop putting gravy on your Crispix.
Get Fit: The Pump
Opens today; 150 E 52nd Ave, btw Lexington and 3rd Ave;
Midtown East; 212.421.3055
Though they've converted the proteinaceous menu at all their
Manhattan locales into an assembly line-style affair
(platter/wrap/salad - protein - fixins), Pump's newest
branch'll be the only one to feature pre-set combos like the
marinated chicken/veggie chili Mondorito Burrito, and an
adobo-marinated bison and yogurt-dill sauce job called the
Street Meat. Hala/llelujah.
Wild Wear: Keds for Opening Ceremony
At Opening Ceremony: 35 Howard St, at Crosby; SoHo; 212.219.2688
Like something out of Malcolm Mclaren's 1970s punk wardrobe,
this trio of cheeky, white-laced sneaks comes in zebra,
leopard, and cheetah designs, all printed on pony hair, the
very stuff C. Thomas Howell needs to surgically implant in
order to revitalize his career.
Conceal your torpidity with fast-looking sneaks from

Recently relocated to new classy digs (glossy dark wood,
exposed brick & white fabric walls, crystal chandeliers...),
the Lebanese pioneer's locking down a first-ever booze
license to create imbibeables like the muddled
oregano/vodka/chartreuse Rash Nicra and the limoncello-based
Amrit. Meanwhile, the venerable menu's been updated to
include feta-n-lamb stuffed phyllo cigars, grilled organic
boneless Cornish hen, and spinach-and-chickpea stuffed ovals
of pumpkin and cracked wheat, which totally ripped off Mad
wheat.

Read: The Edge Effect
Exploring everything from the "rare breed" of female serial
killer to the "pseudocommando" mentality exhibited in recent
group shootings, this info packed blog-journey through the
sociopathic mind's from the Director of Forensic Psychiatry
at SUNY Syracuse, a native Texan who actually once trucked
the Boz in a high school football game, and's been tackling
