The List
Make 2010 the year of not-hideous-fatness: hit Thrillist's
Resolution HQ, and stop putting gravy on your Crispix.

Shed Pounds: Habit Changer
This local site claims it'll shrink your waist line via
their "42 Day Challenge", which'll first expose patterns of
inactivity and crappy diet, then help you amend 'em with
daily checklists, frequent email/text reminders, and a
pat-on-the-back system for tracking progress. Other programs
include healthy finances, quitting smoking, and feeding your
kids, unless, of course, those little chunks're as fat as
you are.
Get started at HabitChanger.com:

Gain Them Back: Rosamunde Sausages in the Mission
Opening Mon at 2382 Mission St, at 24th; The Mission;
415.970.9015
Rosamunde's new outpost's twice as big (with communal tables
by the window, a flatscreen-spying cyprus bar, and cushy
banquettes) and so will you be, 'cause on top of the
bountiful menu served in the Lower Haight (e.g., spicy
Merguez sausage, Nurnberger brats, Cajun andouille links,
etc.), they've got new action like 52 beers on tap/by the
bottle (including several local craft brews like Lagunitas
IPA), and breakfast sandos (yep, they're open early), plus
ground beef/bacon dogs, helping you with your New Year's
resolution. Enjoy!
Eye-gorge the menu:

Admirable: The SF Bar Experiment
Acknowledging she doesn't know how long it'll take or if
it's even possible, one chick has set out to drink at every
single SF watering hole and document her exploits here with
colorful bar pics and pithy descriptions. She's taking on
the Loin first, hitting spots like KoKo, Temple Bar, and
Nite Cap...wait a sec...this route seems suspiciously
similar to the SF Crack Rock Experiment.
Try and keep up with The San Francisco Bar Experiment:

Gear: Dry Bones Boots
Available at Self Edge: 714 Valencia St, at 18th; The
Mission; 415.558.0658
Self Edge's stockin' 40s n' 50s-inspired footwear made of
hand-dyed cowhide and suede in small batches by Tokyo-based
specialty denim purveyor Dry Bones. There's the classy
Brouge Gillie boot (with intricate perforation details and
Goodyear welted midsoles) in black or black/white, and the
super simple, dark contrast upper'd Desert Boot, reminiscent
of what you did 20 miles outside Vegas due to that
bottomless shrimp cocktail.

Useful: Tixsux
Billing themselves as "An End To Parking Tickets", Tixsux'll
call and remind you when it's time to move your rig. Just
follow them on Twitter (they'll follow you back), private
message them your number and the date/time you need to move,
and an automated voice'll ring you saying "you must move
your car within the hour", but unfortunately not "oh, and
remember not to feed your kids".
Don't wait another minute; hit Tixsux.com:
