Suckled Veal: now available for shipment or pickup
It's time to order our suckled veal! Remember, our suckled veal is raised by mom
in the pasture, drinking milk from mama, nibbling on spring grass, and frolicking
with his cousins in the fields.
We have cutlets, osso bucco, ground, stew, and boneless breast roasts, to name just
some of the wonderful options.
The ground veal makes a tasty burger patty on the grill (keep them small, say, 5
oz), needing only salt, pepper, and garlic (if you really need to "cook"). The
stew is great for marinating and grilling as kebabs, and the chops are the best
you've ever tasted!
Ground and stew are in packages of approximately 1 lb each, at $16/lb. The chops
are $22/lb, and the sizes vary. The meats are flash frozen when they are cut, and
brought to the market or shipped on dry ice.
Quantities are limited, and we will not offer veal again until July. If you'll
be away, we will be happy to delay shipment or pick up, up until our moving day
on June 20th.

Moving a family, business and a herd of 100 cows is a big deal! So, after we close
on Sunday, June 20th, we may not be attending our usual assortment of farmer's markets,
until perhaps as late as July 2nd. We also may have to suspend mail order shipments
during that period. We will keep you abreast of the details as they emerge, via
the website and this email list.
