From Linda Larsen, your Guide to Busy Cooks
Well, this certainly is a busy week. My teacher husband goes back to school for prep, Labor Day weekend starts on Friday, and then the real back to school rush begins. Enjoy the time with family and friends with these quick and easy recipes. Fajitas are super fast and delicious, I have some great Labor Day menus, and ideas for making back to school time less traumatic!

Top 5 Fajita Recipes
Fajitas are a great choice for busy weeknights, or for your Labor Day cookout. Just grill some meats, marinated or not, slice them thinly, then put out all the fixings: tortillas, sauteed bell peppers, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. Then dig in!

Labor Day on the Grill Menu
I really think that the last 'official' weekend of summer should be celebrated with steaks on the grill. You can buy inexpensive steaks and marinate them, then they will be tender and juicy cooked over flames. Enjoy!

Top 10 Back to School Ideas
Face it, getting back to school means getting organized. If your kids have had the summer off, you need to start thinking about breakfast, packing lunches, and quick dinners, not to mention after school treats! Bookmark this page for reference throughout the school year.

Top 5 Freeze Ahead Lunchbox Sandwiches
Now is the perfect time to start making some foods for lunch boxes. School days are so busy it's hard to throw together an outfit, let alone a delicious and healthy lunch. Make these sandwiches ahead of time and freeze them, then just pick one out of your freezer on school days and tuck into insulated lunch boxes.
