The Striking Viking
Right-Hander Switches Things up for Laughs
There are times when it's good to challenge yourself, like warming up with donuts on your bat before taking the plate, or warming up with donuts on your plate -- you're gonna need that energy to tackle your real breakfast. For a guy hilariously challenging his left hand, check out The Striking Viking.
Born out of a casual bet to out-draw his coworker using his bad hand, the SD-born Viking's lefty-doodled out an extensive selection of celeb/movie sketches that're "horrible, yet funny and recognizable", so it's surprising that he lacks one of Carrot Top. 5 x 7'' celebrity portraits include squiggly-but-obvious works like a round/squat Danny Devito and sacrilegiously haggard Kristen Stewart, while more ambiguous/hilarious treatment's given to a twisted rendition of Seal (though the scarring's a dead giveaway), a disheveled and apparently strung-out John Stamos looking more like Sid Vicious, and a semi-Picasso'd Gerard Butler looking like the Goonies' Sloth, though that's clearly not one of Gerard's sins -- have you seen his abs!? Movie scene sketches come 8 x 10'', and include a decipherable version of the giant keyboard dance from Big, Indiana Jones running from a onrushing boulder and looking scared, and a Jurassic-ly primitive rendition of Dr. Malcom's unsuccessful attempt to distract the T-Rex, though real-life Goldblum's never been accused of not having enough flare.
The Viking's also got schloads of giftable greeting cards like a feelgood number showing two zombies informing a chesty broad "we love you for your brains", and a smiling hammer design dubbed "Tool Time", also the name of the program you warmed up with to get ready for a real show.
