The end of summer's the perfect excuse to eat way too much of what's bad for you, comfortable in the knowledge that, soon enough, your gut'll be buried under a coat. Just remember: if all that scarfing puts your stomach in one of its moods, Pepto's got you covered*. Find out the latest on belly relief at pepto-bismol.com

RA Scion's Bumbershoot Playlist
10 dope tracks for your weekend
Have a great Labor Day, and enjoy your epidural. See you Tuesday.

Ahead of his performance at Bumbershoot Saturday, the gloriously bearded local rapper (aka Victor Shade) is here to lace you with 10 of the hottest tracks by artists bringing something typically not found at Seattle Center: super sonics.

The Decemberists: Summersong
The PDX indie-rockers're known for their pop-influenced ballads like this lilting-ly romantic track from The Crane Wife, who in Bob Crane's case can be easily recognized as not the woman he's sleeping with.

Solomon Burke: None Of Us Are Free
A pulsing, gospel-tinged duet with the Blind Boys of Alabama that the Rock 'N Roll Hall-of-Famer once performed with Widespread Panic, also what the Boys feel when they have to go back to Alabama.

Kings Go Forth: Now We're Gone
This exuberantly-brassy ditty comes from the Milwaukee-based soul-revivalist's latest album The Outsiders Are Back, and you have no idea how psyched Ralph Macchio is right now.

Fresh Espresso Ft. Grynch, Macklemore & Gatsby: Something New Remix
A syncopated and playfully-synthed out number, this track is topped by verses from three local MCs but neither of FE's permanent members, who're too (Rik) Rude to be bothered.

Lisa Dank: Lazer Dome
Savor the infectiously-catchy/ironically-crass pop sounds of this local Gaga-meets-Madonna-when-she-was-hot, who's totally using her cash from the gig to buy her last name.

THEEsatisfaction: Bisexual Remix
Chill to laid-back jazz-infused sounds from the two rap/each-other-loving ladies who make up this local prog-hop duo, and frustratingly, have no interest in satisfying thee.

Jay Electronica: Exhibit C
This autobiographical anthem-banger showcases Jay's gritty yet smooth delivery over a piano-driven beat by mega-mixer Just Blaze, who somehow hasn't collaborated with the chick who sings Lazer Dome yet.

The Budos Band: My Girl
This brass-heavy instrumental crew from Staten Island offers a deeply-soulful jazz/disco take on either The Temptations' classic, or Macaulay Culkin's touching coming-of-age story about bee stings.

Bobby Bare Jr: The Heart Bionic
From a guy nominated for a Grammy with his dad when he was six, this rollicking, reverb-heavy cut's a little bit country and a little bit rock 'n roll, minus a lotta bit of suck.

Crash Kings: You Got Me
This distortion-pedal and whammy-bar aided guitar riff-based track includes the line "I'm not a sex crazed teacher", suggesting the Mary in the song is not Mary Kay Letourneau. Dammit.

Check these bangers, plus a bonus track from RA's Victor Shade, before you catch his spandex filled show this weekend
