Taking t-shirts down the gypsy road

The gypsy life's not as arduous as people say: you usually have your whole clan traveling with you, and if you need more family, you can always steal it. Clothing America gypsy style, Drive By Press.
DBP started out as a U. of Wisconsin thesis project that had the two founders touring 12 colleges with a 14th-Century-style wood block press that, despite the tunic-era vintage, makes a hell of a t-shirt; though they still travel, after 100,000 miles they did settle on ATX as a home base, following the adage, "I'm not from TX, but I got here as fast as I could considering I'm lugging around an 800lb machine." Currently the duo's in town for ACL, where they'll be offering new customizable designs (choose colors, placement of images) including a mustachioed phrenology skull, the demon-faced Death Girl, a scorpion rippling with distress lines, and a Mexican wrestler in full traditional music regalia, a.k.a., The M-ari-acho Man. Other options veer further towards music, like a collage of 15 different 80s boomboxes, and "Guitar Tree", featuring flora erupting from a Les Paul -- which unfortunately will prompt passersby to yell "Play Spoonman!"
Because this isn't the 1500s, or even the 1900s, you can also snag DBP's wares off the interwebs; or catch them live again at Oct. 23rd's Viva la Vida Fest, right outside the Mexic-Arte Museum -- a great place to take the family, or for a band of gypsies to take your family.
