 | OTTAWA (UPI) -- Canadians' average weekly earnings in September rose 4.3 percent on an annual basis, the second consecutive monthly rise, Statistics Canada said Thursday.
The average weekly wage for non-farm employees was $864.13, partly due to a .09 percent increase in the number of hours worked on annual basis, the agency said.

Eurostat said industrial orders fell 3.8 percent in the euro zone in September compared to August and dropped 2.5 percent in the 27-member European Union. In Washington, the Commerce Department said new orders for durable goods fell 3.3 percent in October after a 5 percent increase in September.
