Subject: Thanks!? No thanks ...

Hey Indiana,
OK, I love Thanksgiving. The turkey, the family,
the friends, the good times ...
Love it.
But I do think the concept of this holiday is
fundamentally flawed.
That is, we're asked to be "thankful for a bountiful
harvest."
As if us being thankful will cause the trees to bear
more fruit or something ;-)
You know what we really need to be thankful for?
The people who tilled the land on which the harvest
was grown ...
The people who put that food on the boxcars that
brought it to our homes ...
The people who took the entrepreneurial risks
required to make all of that possible ...
That's what we really need to be thankful for: the
people busting their humps to make things happen in
the world.
So I say, reject all this superstitious "thanking
to be thankful" stuff and do something meaningful
this year:
1. Thank one of the movers and shakers you know
Acknowledge them for their awesomeness and thank
them for it.
2. Turn yourself into an even bigger mover and shaker
Since you've read this far I know for a fact you're
not a "sit on your butt" kind of person.
Funny how such a small fact tells me so much, but
the logic is clear. A lazy bum would not be reading
such an email on Thanksgiving day.
And I also know that movers and shakers are never
satisfied.
We always want more, don't we?
We want a better life for ourselves, and our
families ...
We want more peak experiences ...
We want more!
Here's something else we have in common: we know
there's only one way we're going to get that more.
What is it?
It's obvious to you and me, but not to the masses
who are sitting around waiting for a hand out.
I don't have to say it because you already know, but
just for the sake of clarity ...
What is that one and only way in the world that
anyone gets "more?"
Easy: they constantly improve themselves so they
are able to *do* more.
That's it.
There is no mystery.
There is no secret.
There is no magic bullet.
We simply have to dedicate ourselves to a path of
constant improvement.
Once we stop slobbering after umbrella drinks and
beaches (I've tried it ... borrrring!). And start
falling in love with a lusty life full of greater
challenges, and adventure ...
Well, life suddenly becomes awesome!
We stop "waiting" on false hope, and start embracing
the joy of the good fight.
That's it. (No matter how many people try to
bamboozle us with their song and dance to the
contrary.)
Now, as you know, anyone spoiling for a good fight
needs the right equipment.
Luckily, we've put together virtually everything
you'll need in one awesome package:

And because it's Thanksgiving, and because this is
all about thanking the movers and shakers like you,
we've put a very special price on it. (you will be
very pleasantly surprised)
Oh, and one last thing ...
Thank you!
MJ
