Get the links on our Community tab on USYouthSoccer.org. 2011 Workshop | Louisville, Ky., Feb. 24-26 Early registration is open for the 2011 US Youth Soccer Workshop, to be held Feb. 24-26 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Ky. Over 2,000 soccer coaches, administrators, referees and enthusiasts are expected at the organization's annual convention. The event, the largest of its kind for youth sports in North America, features more than 90 educational workshops and demonstrations, including field demonstrations for coaches. In addition to the educational opportunities, the convention features an exhibit hall. Friday evening is highlighted with the US Youth Soccer Awards Gala. The Gala will showcase successes of the past year and over a lifetime. National League League play kicks off in Wilson, N.C., with boys' games Nov. 18-21 followed by girls' games Dec. 2-5. Daily video, stories and scores will be available from the first two events. Keep updated through USYouthSoccer.org. Olympic Development Program Continuing its tradition of elite play, competition and player development, youth from the nation's elite player identification and development program, US Youth Soccer ODP, will train and compete in front of national and leading collegiate coaches to maximize their exposure. Both boys and girls compete in Thanksgiving interregional competitions. The annual US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Thanksgiving Interregional is scheduled at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla. Teams will compete Nov. 21-26. The US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Thanksgiving Interregional has expanded this year to represent teams in the 1993 – 1996 age groups including the U.S. Under-15 Girls' National Team and the Norwegian Academy team. The Boys Thanksgiving Interregional will be held Nov. 26-29 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla., as part of the Disney Soccer Showcase. The 1996 age group's four regional teams will compete. The 1997 age group will be represented by two teams per region as well as the U.S. Under-14 Boys' National Team's navy and red teams.
