 | LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- Weather forecasters said the rain socking much of California Sunday could produce flooding, particularly along the mountain foothills.
The National Weather Service said flood watches and advisories were posted from Sacramento south to Bakersfield where 4-7 inches of rain were possible in the foothill regions of the San Joaquin Valley.

The hotel was criticized for using nearly $11 million in jewels as decorations on its 40-foot tall Christmas tree, but said the tree and all its decorations belong to a company called Style Gallery, reported WAM, the Emirates News Agency.
"The hotel is just a venue for exhibiting the tree", the hotel said.
