Drink/Schmooze: Beats After Sunset @ Bass
Every Friday starting this week, 8-10pm: Bass Museum Of Art: 2100 Collins Ave; South Beach; 305.673.7530 x 1001
Hit the Bass's terrace every Friday for DJ Ricardo Nunez, comp Herradura tequila (served by guest mixologists learning you on the merits of the spirit), light bites from Tropical Tacos, plus access to exhibits, which currently include the works of Julien Isaac, a UK photog with bad ass shots of Kung Fu-ish mystic Asian landscapes, like one featuring a Chinese junk ship, which these days, only hauls Yao Ming's feet.
Check out the rhythm of the night at The Bass Museum's Facebook page

Reuse: Recycled Art Company
Outta Niceville, RAC fashions vintage license plates (and various other stuff) into cool wall art, with highlights such as Baloo The Blue Dog, a sad-eyed Lab made (quite confusingly) from black and white plates, and Terrific Triple Surf, with three boards nailed onto a surf shack background, plus custom jobs such as your name with an anniversary date spelled out, or any band name you want -- except for Train, because they don't use license plates, and they are the worst band ever.
These plates will totally confuse cops if you're stupid enough to mount one on your car. Dare you. Check 'em out on their Etsy page.

Time To Save: Meister Watches @ JackThreads
Our cos-bro-nauts at JT're slinging two of the urban timewear concern's most popular handmade models: the stainless steel, composite-strapped Prodigy, and the rubber-banded, square-faced Chief, hopefully not named after Robert Parish, because if he could tell time he would have retired 5 years earlier.
Kick off the new year with loads of discounted gear from JackThreads.com
