NEW YORK (UPI) -- U.S. entertainer Paula Abdul said Sunday there are many misconceptions about her, including that she is an airhead with a drinking problem.

Interviewed by Julie Chen on "CBS Sunday Morning," the longtime singer and dancer is promoting her new CBS reality show "Live to Dance," where amateur dancers of all ages will compete for a half-million-dollar prize.

Bertinelli and Vitale officially tie knot

MALIBU, Calif. (UPI) -- Television start Valerie Bertinelli says she is incredibly happy after tying the knot with longtime boyfriend Tom Vitale this weekend.

The "Hot in Cleveland" star and Vitale were married in a small ceremony at their Malibu home, People magazine reported Sunday.

"We are so happy," Bertinelli said.

About 100 guests witnessed the marriage Saturday, including Bertinelli' 19-year-old son, Wolfie.

Chuck Berry falls ill at concert

CHICAGO (UPI) -- An ambulance crew from the Chicago Fire Department checked rock legend Chuck Berry after he fell ill at a concert at the Congress Theater, officials said.

The 84-year-old Berry seemed to have trouble keeping his guitar in tune and at times sat down to play at a keyboard before leaving the stage about an hour into his performance, the Chicago Tribune reported.

'Fockers' dominates for second week

LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- "Little Fockers" -- starring Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro and Dustin Hoffman -- was No. 1 at the U.S. box office for a second weekend.

The latest in the "Fockers" franchise took in more than $26 million at the box office this weekend for a total gross of $103 million in two weeks.

Coming in at a strong No. 2 was the remake of "True Grit" with Jeff Bridges and Josh Brolin, raking in $24.5 million for its second weekend.
