Newspaper ad directed at Fox News

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- A Jewish organization has purchased a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal calling for sanctions on Fox News chief Roger Ailes and commentator Glenn Beck.

The ad in Thursday's Journal is signed by hundreds of rabbis and was placed by Jewish Funds for Justice, a non-profit advocacy group, The Washington Post reported.

2030 world Muslim population put at 2.2B

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- The world Muslim population in 2030 is expected to reach 2.2 billion from 1.6 billion in 2010, with Pakistan becoming the largest Muslim nation, a study said.

The population projection released Thursday by the Pew Research Center's Forum on Religion and Public Life in Washington said the Muslim population will increase about 35 percent in the next 20 years.

Sharron Angle to run for president?

DES MOINES, Iowa (UPI) -- Former Nevada Republican legislator Sharron Angle refused to confirm for an Iowa movie audience whether she would run for president.

"I'll just say I have lots of options for the future, and I'm investigating all my options," Angle told the approximately 200 people gathered to view the premier of a $5 million movie,"The Genesis Code," the Des Moines Register reported.

Publicist says Presley didn't collapse

LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- Lisa Marie Presley's publicist has denied a tabloid report claiming the U.S. musician collapsed at her home in England after she lost 55 pounds on a diet.

"It is absolutely and completely untrue," Presley's representative told People.com Friday. "The National Enquirer puts Lisa on the cover every few months with manipulated photos and horrendous stories of supposed 'meltdowns,' and has since she can remember."
