 | LONDON (UPI) -- Scottish singer-songwriter Gerry Rafferty died Tuesday at his Dorset, England, home following a long illness, his family said. He was 63.
The Guardian said Rafferty's daughter, Martha, was by his side when he died.

Murray is accused of causing Jackson's death by improperly administering sedatives and anesthesia in an effort to help the pop icon sleep at his home.
Jackson died from acute propofol intoxication June 25, 2009. He was 50.

The Texas native was born William Lindsey Erwin. He is best known for his work in the movie "Somewhere in Time," as well as for his guest appearances on "Seinfeld," "Growing Pains," "Gunsmoke," "Highway to Heaven," "Perry Mason," "The Golden Girls," "Twilight Zone," "Zane Grey Theater" and "Who's the Boss?"

Paltrow recently made headlines for her cleaned-up cover of Green's song "(Expletive) You" on the TV comedy series "Glee."
Since then, rumors have been swirling that she and Green would duet on a new version of the song.
