World's oldest woman dies in Texas at 115 JACKSONVILLE, Texas (UPI) -- The world's oldest woman, Eunice Sanborn, has died in Jacksonville, Texas, of natural causes at the age of 115, her caregiver said. Sanborn was born on July 20, 1895, in Lake Charles, La., and was declared the oldest person in the United States last April.
