The Playbook

It's Good: Flick Football Tournament
Friday Feb 4th at Partners & Spade: 40 Great Jones St, btwn
Bowery and Lafayette St; Noho
Head to the P&S Studio space before the big game for your
own chance at glory at this beer-infused flick football
tourney, which'll also exhibit "artifacts" from FF's storied
past including "rare Japanese Flick Football cards", and
replicas of famous flick fingers, so look forward to
reprising your role as Amanda Dougan's date to Dazed & Confused.
Check out some of the artifacts and get ready to flick at

Dining: David Burke Kitchen
Opens Tomorrow Feb 3rd at The James Hotel 23 Grand St, btwn
Thompson and 6th Ave; 212.201.9119
DB's first foray downtown focuses on playfully modern
"farmhouse American" victuals (escargot-on-bone-marrow "Ants
on a Log", swordfish w/ red pepper polenta & duck liver)
from inside a lofty, beam-filled space abetted by a
multi-tiered outdoor area (complete w/ small dinghy) and a
glass-enclosed "treehouse bar", where just your presence
will appropriately ensure the total absence of women.
Scope the daily specials (Shanks a lot Sundays!) and
cocktails on the menu right here

made from something else, from a fridge-couch, to vintage
ski chairs, to a DJ booth made from the end of an old auto,
a fitting vehicle for delivering tunes for the car wreck of
your dance moves.
Find out more about their art and what else might get turned
into your seat at RevisionLounge.com

taken down if you smoke it like it's your Jobs.
