Apple (

introducing the iPad 2 and the next iteration of the company's mobile operating system,
iOS 4.3. The tech giant's new OS will offer a variety of new enhancements, highlighted by a Personal Hotspot feature for sharing an iPhone 4's Wi-Fi data connection with other mobile devices.
With the Verizon iPhone already equipped with a mobile hotspot, AT&T (

confirmed to Electronista on Wednesday that it will support the new Personal Hotspot feature on March 11, the same day that iOS 4.3 is available for download.
AT&T spokesman Mark Siegel said that iPhone (

In total, users will have to fork over $45 per month for a combined 4 GB of data, which can be split between the iPhone 4 and other connected devices. Those who exceed the 4 GB allotment will be charged $10 for each additional gigabyte.
The plan is in line with Verizon's (

recently launched HTC (

failed to detail the number of mobile devices that can be simultaneously connected to the iPhone 4. Verizon currently allows users to sync up to five other devices to its handset.
AT&T customers had reason to worry that the carrier would be slow to provide support for the personal hotspot. AT&T announced its intention to offer tethering support for its iPhone soon after iOS 3.0 came out, but forced customers to wait a full year until it actually launched the feature.
