Opens Tomorrow, March 17th: 186 Orchard St, btwn Houston and Stanton St; Lower East Side
Previously online-only, the made-to-measure shoe brand's popping up this week as a combo store/art installation strewn with taxidermy. New spring styles on hand'll include the seamless skater-esque Superclean low-top, and the Hiker X-Ray with its transparent sole, which was either done to show off the shoe's handsewn construction, or because Hall & Oates had cornered the market on white ones.

Stepping in for the relocating Bagatelle, BM's livened up the former inhabitant's space with red banquettes, but the main overhauling's been left to the menu, which now features braised short rib & foie gras ravioli, grilled lamb chops with potato goat cheese gratin, Bearnaised T-bones, and filet mignon w/ Maitre d' butter, so you know his palms are greased.
