Schelmetic, TMCnet Contributor Wonder what your younger kids are up to on Facebook (News - Alert)? If you live in California, soon it may be easier for you to find out. A new bill, California SB242 (also known as the Social Networking Privacy Act) would require social media networks like Facebook to allow parents access to their children’s accounts and force all privacy settings to their maximum level by default. Parents would also be able to request that images or text be removed from any social network page “upon request … within 48 hours upon his or her request,” reported TechCrunch. The bill, which was introduced by by State Senator Ellen Corbett, would levy a fine on any social network company that failed to comply – companies could see fines as high as $10,000 per incident... So I go to buy one and see this ridiculous disclaimer: "Caution is advised. Items are hard frozen". Obviously, Disney is concerned someone might chomp into one of these ice cream items and chip a tooth resulting in a lawsuit. Really? Has it come to this? We have to put warnings for hard ice cream?
