| COCKTAIL PARTY MUNCHIES Summer is here and we are just around the corner from Memorial Day - Its time to party like the rock star that you are. If you are serving up cocktails, serving up delicious cocktail munchies is an absolute must. While we cannot take full credit for inventing all of these tasty bits - we've twisted and altered them into something we feel is even better than the original. We've prepared and eaten every concoction presented...and, our cocktail party guests were delighted. Enjoy! Green Tea Mojito Martini Ingredients The mix Steep 2 green tea or mint green tea bags in a cup of boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Add a tablespoon of sugar and stir to disolve, then let cool. To a shaker 3/4 full of cracked ice, add the cup of green tea, 4 ounces of rum and lime juice. Shake up and pour into 2 freezing martini glasses. This is optional - you can add a splash of club soda to give a bit of fizz, then garnish with a lime wedge or mint leaves. Another option to this is to use gin. It certainly won't be a Mojito anymore...but, what the heck! Gin pairs nicely with tea, as both have herbal qualities, so you'd have a version of a gin martini crossed with a gin and tonic...we'd recommend Hendricks Gin.
