Red Beryl Collecting Trip
We never guarantee people will find a keeper but John put it, "if you can't find a red beryl and topaz here, you should find a new hobby". These pits are famous for the champagne colored topaz with associated red beryl and bixbyite. One inch topaz clusters and single crystals with an attached red beryl crystal (or cluster) are common. There are even clusters that have red beryl, topaz, and bixbyite. What a combination! Click Here to see a mouth watering example. The rare mineral, Holfertite, is also found here, which you can see here. You will want a hand lens for this expedition. Trip Price: $125.00 Per Person. What's New In The Store
 1. A new and great selection of cabochons including Montana Moss Agate, Rose Quartz, Brazilian Agate, and Tiger's Eye. 2. Azurite pigment powder. This is from the LaSal Mountains. Because we know the mine owners, we get it for a good deal which we just pass along. Come in and check it out if you make your own paints for art, sand art,or do inlay. There are 3 color-shades to choose from. 3. A new selection of azurite and malachite specimens from the Blue Crystal Mine in the LaSal Mountains. 4. Chalcedony rosettes. We just received a 5 gallon bucket of beautiful white and pink chalcedony rosettes from Arizona. Some are as small as a silver dollar and some as large as a cantaloupe. |
