The Playbook

Sweet!: Bittersweet Summer Menu And Patio
500 E Alameda Ave; Wash Park; 303.942.0320
Newness abounds at Wash Park's intimate dinner nook with the debut of their porch and surrounding garden, plus never-before-served mains like wild boar with braised pork, sausage, wilted greens, and a pineapple gastrique, plus starters like pork belly with potato gnocchi and summer 'shrooms, which is really the only reason that chick wouldn't have been into Joseph Gordon-Levitt!
The menu is equal parts tiny and mouthwatering

Pop Art: Rustic Pepsi Crate
From a Louisville woodworker, these old-school, "Denver, Colorado"-stamped Pepsi crates (found at local antique shops/ flea markets) originally held 24 bottles, but have now been up-righted and rejiggered to hold 24 bottle-sized objects in closed drawers, which ought to help prevent people from seeing your Sun Drop shame (jk, it's an awesome thirst-quenching citrus soda that's just dropped coast to coast!).
Delivery's free for anyone in the Front Range -- so take a closer look at the crates

Hola Beautiful: Cuba Cuba Sandwicheria
2525 Arapahoe; Boulder; 303.442.1143
Sister spot to the Golden Triangle's Cuba Cuba, the lime-green Sandwicheria serves evil witches with demonic sand spells! a simple menu of Cuban delights, like the Picadillo (a bowl of ground beef, raisins, potatoes, and black beans), and sandwiches like the mahi tempura/ onions/ garlic-habanero aioli Minuta de Pescado, and the steak/ onions/ shoestring potatoes Pan Con Bistec on Cuban bread, meaning they must've taken out a loan from Livan Hernandez.
Their menu is packed full of tastiness, so take a peek
