Rising gas prices are spurring advances in technology and driving business communications into the world of telepresence. More than half of chief financial officers across the United States are turning to telecommuting and teleconferencing as a means of greener solutions, according to a recent study. Research suggests that those company leaders are making the necessary changes and implementing telepresence.

Phase one of the $150 million renovation at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers, one of New York City's largest and most legendary hotels, includes a new TelePresence Suite from networking major Cisco.
